● Shape the sand. ● Give it weather. ● Watch what lasts.
FIELD NOTE / 01

What is yours? What is the sea's?

This isn't a coastal engineering tool. It is a small, deliberately fictional system: sand yields, stones shelter, weather changes the rules and plants take their chances. Your hand can move the coastline. It cannot command every consequence.

FIELD GUIDE / 01

THE SEA GETS
A VOTE.

You have inherited a very small coast. Make something of it. The water will do the rest.

01 / SHAPE

Build or carve.

Select Raise land or Carve, then drag on the map. Your edits change which ground stays above water.

02 / SHELTER

Plant and protect.

Add plants to dry ground near the shore. Place stones to help protect vulnerable sand from erosion. Survival is not guaranteed.

03 / DISTURB

Change the weather.

Calm lets the coast rest, Rain helps plants, and Storm accelerates erosion. The tide rises and falls on its own.

04 / KEEP

Take a postcard.

Save an image of the coast you've made. Your world also saves locally in this browser, unless storage is disabled.

This is an artwork and a rule-driven, fictional simulation—not a predictive model of sea level, ecology, erosion or climate. This experience is silent and has no flashing effects. No microphone, account or server is required. Keyboard: 1–4 tools, Space pause, focus map and use arrows + Enter to edit. Motion is reduced when your device requests it.
